DELIVERY DRIVER

EMG is looking for qualified and dependable drivers. CAD DRAFTSPERSON

East Moline Glass is a regionally leading commercial glass façade manufacturing and installation contractor that is located in East Moline, IL. The business has been owned and operated by the Anderson family since 1960 and continues to experience exceptional growth. We have partnerships with many leading construction related firms and suppliers which has allowed us to be well position to continue this growth well into the future.   • Position: CAD Drafter/ Window & Door Fabrication Design Engineer
  • Time: Full Time
  • Role: This position will have multiple functions with the primary role being the support of project management staff and the submittal coordinator. Time will be split between the generation of 2D line drawings for glass façade submittal drawings (shop drawings) on AutoCAD and creating fabrication reports for windows that will be built in our shop. East Moline Glass uses a proprietary software program that interfaces with our fabrication equipment. This role will have some time on the fabrication floor confirming fab processes and checking tolerances of the fabricated product.
  • Required Skills: Attention to detail, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and the ability to meet deadlines are required skills.
    This role will be working with AutoCAD, EXCEL and other industry specific computer programs related to the fabrication processes we have in place, which training will be provided for. Experience with AutoCAD is desired. Occasionally lifting up to 15 lbs may be required.
  • Compensation: This is a 40-hour per week, full time position with a competitive hourly wage rate. No travel is required and occasionally there will be non-mandatory overtime opportunities. Additional compensation includes two weeks paid personal time off, 7 days paid holidays annually, health insurance including dental and vision, 401K with company match, and the benefit of working with a family owned company.

ESTIMATOR

The estimator's primary duty is providing quotes to our customers, business owners, and general contractors. Understanding price books, the material "take-off" process, and glazing trade is critical. A successful estimator will develop relationships and contacts with suppliers and sales representatives, multitask, meet bid deadlines, and provide thorough competitive pricing.

GENERAL LABORER

This position is for general shop labor. Applicant should be able to lift minimum 40lbs as this person will help load materials onto trucks for delivery. Prior fabrication shop experience is a plus but not necessary. Ability to stay on task and follow directions is a must.

PROJECT MANAGER

Handles the daily tasks of overseeing glazing projects in a large range of contract amounts. Interaction with suppliers, customers, contractors and architects is required to develop schedules, man power requirements, and product delivery. The project manager must be able to multi-task and prioritize work on various projects they are assigned to. Following budgets and ordering materials is a critical responsibility for our project mangers along with understanding architectural drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings. A successful project manager is organized, responsive, and an effective communicator.
