LOADER
Responsibilities:
Load trucks and trailers with aluminum framing, doors, glass, and other materials
Ensure accuracy of each load by reading load sheets and pick lists
Ensure quality of the fragile materials when transporting and securing them
Operate a forklift to retrieve stored materials from the floor and bring them to the trucks/trailers
Work in an efficient manner to meet scheduled deadlines
Other duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds with no restrictions
Ability to read and follow instructions
Great problem-solving skills
Proactive instead of reactive work mentality
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in loading or manufacturing- preferred
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week); Occasional overtime opportunities; M-F day shift; No travel required
Working Conditions:
Fabrication shop and outdoors; possible exposure to loud noises and all weather conditions
Mobilization on the fabrication floor amongst large racks of storage and moving forklifts and combi-lifts.

PROGRAMMER & SCHEDULER (FABRICATION SUPERVISOR)
*CAD Drafting experience highly preferred*
Responsibilities:
Program the Door RhinoFAB machines (similar to CNC machines) which cut and drill aluminum; this includes programming with a computer-based glazing software, maintenance of the software, and maintenance of the physical machine
Manage the fabrication schedule for the (door) fabrication department which oftentimes requires scheduled deadlines and forecasted bottlenecks in response to the ever-changing commercial construction industry
Read and understand shop drawings/plans created from our in-house CAD Drafting department in order to apply them to fabrication and ensure accurate dimensions
Receive and check in materials for the assigned fabrication department (doors)
Work in coordination with the Rhino operator and other fabricators to understand lead times and abilities
Coordinate with other positions to ensure receiving and fabrication will line up with loading/deliveries and vice versa
Learn and understand the commercial glazing industry, vernacular, hardware, and pieces that are required for a variety of systems
Work with the Director of Manufacturing Operations to maintain a high level of quality control of materials that are fabricated

Strong understanding of Microsoft products: Excel, Word, and Outlook

Experience/Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent - required
1-3 years of experience with 2D CAD software - strongly preferred
Experience in programming of (CNC) machinery - strongly preferred
Experience in construction/manufacturing/fabrication - strongly preferred
Experience in a supervisory role; or displays interpersonal skills to be successful in a supervisory role
